Tiffin Sandwiches Proud to Support Withernsea Blue Light Weekend 2026 as Headline Sponsor

At Tiffin Sandwiches, we believe our responsibility extends beyond producing high-quality food. We are committed to supporting local communities, building meaningful partnerships, and recognising those who dedicate their lives to helping others.

We are proud to serve as Headline Sponsor of Withernsea Blue Light Weekend 2026, taking place on 8th and 9th of August.

As this is our first year supporting the event, our sponsorship extends well beyond a conventional business partnership. It serves as a meaningful opportunity to contribute to an event that recognises and honours the essential roles of Blue Light workers, emergency service personnel, military veterans, lifesaving organisations, and volunteers. Moreover, it highlights the event’s significance as a platform for fostering community engagement and advancing our commitment to corporate social responsibility.

What is Withernsea Blue Light Weekend?

Withernsea Blue Light Weekend is one of East Yorkshire's largest free family events, created to celebrate the people and organisations that protect, rescue and support communities every day.

The event shines a spotlight on the UK's Blue Light workers, including the police, fire and rescue services, ambulance service, RNLI, HM Coastguard, military veterans and countless volunteers whose dedication often goes unseen.

Originally, Steve Medcalf's vision for Blue Light Weekend was to put Withernsea on the map while bringing local communities together. Following Steve's passing, the people of Withernsea turned that vision into reality in 2022, and the event has continued to grow year after year.

Today, it attracts thousands of visitors while raising awareness of the vital work carried out by emergency services, charities, rescue organisations and community groups across the UK.

Bringing Communities Together

Community sits at the heart of Blue Light Weekend.

The event doesn't just celebrate emergency services, it brings together families, charities, volunteers, local businesses and organisations to recognise the people who make a difference every day.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy:

As well as providing a fantastic family day out, the event helps raise awareness for local charities, supports community fundraising and promotes Withernsea as a destination, benefiting local businesses and the wider East Yorkshire community.

Why Tiffin Sandwiches Became Headline Sponsor

As a national food-to-go manufacturer with proud Yorkshire roots, we understand the importance of supporting communities, not just supplying them.

Every day, our teams work hard to produce fresh food for customers across the UK. We recognise that same dedication in the emergency service personnel, Blue Light workers, military veterans and volunteers who serve their communities with professionalism, compassion and commitment.

Supporting Blue Light Weekend allows us to publicly recognise those individuals while helping ensure this incredible community event continues to grow.

For us, becoming Headline Sponsor isn't simply about sponsorship; it's about showing appreciation for the people who support us every single day.

Supporting the People Who Support Us

Supporting Blue Light Weekend is personal because Tiffin Sandwiches has always been built around the values of:

  • Hard work.

  • Loyalty.

  • Community.

  • Teamwork.

  • Care.

These values shape everything we do, from producing quality food-to-go products to supporting our customers, colleagues and local communities.

We believe businesses have a responsibility to give back, whether by supporting charities, investing in community partnerships, or recognising frontline workers. Each business can create a positive impact through these actions.

Blue Light Weekend provides the perfect opportunity to celebrate the emergency services, lifesaving teams, military veterans and volunteers who continue to put others first.
