Supporting Scotland Through Local Employment
Scotland is an important part of our business and future growth plans. In 2025, Tiffin Sandwiches acquired the former PJ's Foods operation in Glasgow, building on a business that has been serving customers across Scotland since 1996.
Today, we continue to produce high-quality food from our Glasgow facility, supplying schools, colleges, universities, NHS facilities, retail outlets, councils and sporting venues throughout the country.
By maintaining local production in Scotland, we support Scottish jobs, invest in local skills and contribute to the strength of Scotland's food manufacturing sector. Our commitment is to provide great food, dependable service and sustainable employment opportunities for the communities we serve.
This investment ensures that a business with nearly three decades of Scottish heritage continues to grow while remaining rooted in the local communities it supports.
Delivering Across Scotland

That's why we operate our own Scottish-based delivery fleet, helping us maintain control over quality, flexibility and customer service. By managing deliveries locally, we're able to respond quickly to customer requirements while supporting employment and economic activity within Scotland.

Sustainability in Scotland
Our Scottish operation has achieved Zero Waste to Landfill, with waste diverted into renewable energy generation and recycling programmes. We continue to explore new ways to reduce waste, improve efficiency and support more sustainable food production across our business.
Supplying Wales from Our North Wales Facility
Wales plays a key role in our operations, helping us serve customers across Wales and the Northwest of England.
In 2020, Tiffin Sandwiches acquired the former Street Eats facility in North Wales, building on a business with a strong local presence and a history spanning more than 30 years. Today, the site employs approximately 170 people and continues to provide valuable employment opportunities within the local community.
From our North Wales facility, we produce and distribute a wide range of food-to-go products, supporting customers across education, healthcare, retail and other sectors.
We're also proud to continue the site's long-standing relationships with local schools, colleges and community organisations. During the COVID pandemic, the business played an important role in supporting local schools through lunch bag provision, and we continue to supply schools across Flintshire and Denbighshire today.
By investing in local production and local people, we're helping to support regional economies while delivering the quality, service and reliability our customers depend on.
How Wales Helped Shape Our Sustainability Journey
Many of the sustainability initiatives we're now developing across the wider Tiffin Sandwiches Group started in Wales.
Like any responsible business, we want to reduce our environmental impact. However, we also recognise that sustainability initiatives must be commercially sustainable if they are to deliver long-term benefits.
Our Welsh site became the ideal place to trial new technologies, energy-saving initiatives and more sustainable ways of operating. The success of these projects has helped inform future investments across the wider business, including sustainability measures being incorporated into our new 50,000 sq. ft production facility.
We've invested significantly in reducing energy consumption and improving operational efficiency at our Welsh site.
Key initiatives include:
A 220kw solar panel system.
Air source heat pumps for heating and hot water.
Food waste converted into renewable biogas.
Recycling programmes covering food waste, cardboard and plastics.
A 35% reduction in energy consumption through improved efficiency.
Around 40% energy self-sufficiency through solar generation.
These projects have shown us that environmental responsibility and commercial performance can work hand in hand.
